At Urban Vagabond Jewelers, every piece is handcrafted in my New York studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques and carefully selected natural materials. I stand behind the quality of my work and want you to enjoy your jewelry for years to come.
6-Month Craftsmanship Warranty
Every handcrafted piece is covered by a 6-month craftsmanship warranty beginning on the date of purchase.
If your jewelry experiences a failure due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect during this period, I will repair it at no charge.
This warranty covers issues such as solder joints or structural failures resulting from the original construction of the piece.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, exposure to chemicals, modifications made by another jeweler, or normal wear and tear.
Beaded Bracelet Repairs
Beaded jewelry is designed to be worn and enjoyed, but over a long period of time the steel cable may eventually wear out through regular use or harsh use can damage the cable.
If your beaded bracelet breaks within the 6-month craftsmanship warranty due to a workmanship issue, I will restring it free of charge.
After the warranty period, I am happy to restring your bracelet for a reasonable repair fee.
To keep repair costs low, please save all of the original beads if possible. If beads are missing, replacement stones or sterling silver components can usually be supplied for an additional charge, subject to availability.
Customers may either deliver their jewelry in person or mail it to me. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to Urban Vagabond Jewelers. Return shipping charges may apply.
Other Repairs
Even after your warranty has expired, I am happy to repair most Urban Vagabond Jewelers pieces whenever possible.
Repair pricing varies depending on the work required and replacement materials needed. I will always provide an estimate before beginning any repair.
Exchanges & Store Credit
Because each piece is handcrafted, I generally do not offer refunds.
However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request an exchange or store credit within 7 days of delivery.
Items must be:
- Unworn
- In original condition
- Free from damage or alteration
- Returned with original packaging when possible
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or was shipped incorrectly.
Custom & Personalized Orders
Custom, personalized, resized, or made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless a workmanship defect is present.
Natural Materials
Many Urban Vagabond Jewelers pieces feature natural gemstones, pearls, shell, wood, or other organic materials.
Each stone is naturally unique. Variations in color, pattern, matrix, inclusions, and texture are part of the beauty of natural materials and are not considered defects.
Patina & Finish
Some sterling silver pieces feature an intentionally darkened patina to enhance detail and character. Over time this finish may naturally lighten or change with wear. This is a normal characteristic of handcrafted jewelry and not a defect.
